Architectural Acoustic Report / Information about the Project
What is an Architectural Acoustic Report?
Acoustic Report; analysis of spaces' relationships with each other in terms of noise sensitivity and loudness, and sound transmission paths (airborne and impact sound); Limit values to be applied according to the targeted acoustic quality and insulation class; It is a report containing the building elements and components and point connection details to be shown in architectural and/or installation projects according to these values and analyses. There are floor plans that specify the type of walls and floors that will be located in the building. Additionally, the details and acoustic insulation values of these building elements are explained.
-
The Acoustic Report is delivered in A4 format, with blueprint printing and wet signature on each page.
What is an Architectural Acoustic Project?
Acoustic Project; It contains all the information requested in the Acoustic Report and additionally includes all analyses, calculations, modeling, application and detail drawings. It contains detailed drawings and solutions of the structure and key sheets.
-
The Acoustic Project is delivered as scaled and blueprint prints, with wet signatures on each page.
What is an Acoustic Performance Certificate?
It is a document that will show the acoustic performance class as a result of acoustic tests for all buildings or independent units that are sensitive to noise. There is no legal obligation, it is only required for structures aiming for class A or B acoustic performance value.
What are Acoustic Performance Values and What Should They Be?
Acoustic Performance Values; Expressed as A, B, C, D, E or F (A is the highest, F is the lowest).
-
For new buildings, at least Class C for Building Permit,
-
In case of change of purpose of use in existing buildings, at least class D in the affected independent units,
-
In case of major renovation, the affected building elements must be at least class D.
Who Can Submit the Acoustic Report / Project, Who Prepares It and How Do Municipalities Control It?
The Acoustic Report can be prepared by persons or Project Designers who have one of the A-2 Type Engineering Acoustics or C-1 Type Building Acoustics or D1-Building Acoustics Expert certificates. The most up-to-date certificate with the most comprehensive authority is the D1-Building Acoustics Specialist certificate. It can be organized by individuals or Project Designers who have one of the C-1 Type Building Acoustics or D1-Building Acoustics Expert certificates. The certificate with the most comprehensive authority is the D1-Building Acoustics Specialist certificate.
The Acoustic Project is organized only by Acoustic Experts who have the D1 Basic Building Acoustics Expert Certificate. In order to become a D1 Basic Building Acoustic Specialist, it is necessary to receive training and have a certificate. Municipalities must check and approve Acoustic Reports and Acoustic Projects.
-
The Acoustic Reports and Acoustic Projects we prepare are guaranteed to be approved by the relevant municipalities and administrations. Revisions originating from the municipality or administration will be made by us free of charge.
Are Acoustic Projects and Acoustic Reports Mandatory for All Buildings, What is the Name of the Regulation and Who Implements It?
Those who will apply for a Building Permit; Submission of the Architectural Acoustic Report or Acoustic Project to the relevant municipality in addition to the architectural project for all new or existing buildings, including historical artifacts, ancient artifacts and cultural assets, by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization. Regulation on the Protection of Buildings Against Noise has been made mandatory.
Architectural Design and Project Planning
EKSIMIMARLIK As , we manage the processes of designing, projecting, building or revising/developing the buildings in each program. In this process, we create all kinds of visuals, drawings, documents, calculations and explanations necessary for the design of the building, its approval by official authorities and its construction. We ensure the coordination of all necessary architectural and engineering services on behalf of the employer, from the initial design of the building until the construction process is completed.
